What is Velour Lips?
Through applying the correct shade of lip liner to match your complexion, as well as plumping the lip area, our lip tattoo treatments can correct any shape or symmetry concerns.
Is it painful?
The pain is surprisingly minimal.
Because the skin on the lips is extra porous, the anesthesia is much more effective than it will be on say, your brows.
How long does it last?
When you get a body tattoo, it is usually done with ink which has a very watery consistency. Pigment is thicker so it gives that more natural powdery finish, but it does exfoliate out of your skin after 12 to 18 months.
Healing
The lips will look very dry and chapped as they heal. The colour gets lighter and then as the skin heals the colour comes back.
Pre-care and Aftercare
No alcohol or caffeinated products 24hrs before treatment and no aspirin or blood-thinning medication five days after.
Absolutely no injections of Novocaine should be administrated to you ten days before treatment.
